Embeding VALUES & Behaviours

Having developed a series of organisational values, competencies and behavioural indicators for operational roles within the businesses, Wolseley was keen to embed the new framework. Further they were eager to bring a more consistent, objective and systematic approach to the review process and development of this population.

Bacon6 worked with Wolseley to design of a bespoke desk based assessment tool focused on both the critical behaviours and key performance indicators required for success in these roles. The tool has resulted in far more structured and objective assessments of individuals and promoted constructive, evidence based discussions between individuals and their managers. Further by introducing a development support guide linked to the competencies and behaviours has meant that support and development is immediate, on-going and not reliant on a training course.
